Rover Alcisa is carrying out in Benimàmet one of the most complex underground network of Valencia

Rover Alcisa is carrying out in Benimamet one of the most complex pieces in the line of Metrovalencia. Rover Alcisa Constructions has completed the underground Line 1 Metrovalencia at its pass through Benimamet.

The implementation of such infrastructure, means the integration of Line 1 of Metrovalencia in the urban nucleus of Benimamet by a twin-track tunnel with underground stations to maintain maximum accessibility and proximity of them.

The burial carried out by Rover Alcisa provides a solution as it solves the urban problems such as planning and environmental impact of the Metro in the urban area of Benimamet.

This work consists of three phases.

The first is the tunnel infrastructure, with rail diversion.
The second track is the superstructure, including two stations: Benimamet and Carolinas.
Urbanization

The first is executed and the second is beginning now, both works awarded to Rover Alcisa. The third is in a design phase.
"The complexity of the work is that we have to combine the implementation of the agreements with the maintenance of rail service as the old layout and final overlap by 80%, need to divert the train at various stages in a very small space. In fact, Rover Alcisa has also built the subway station in Bailen, Line T-2 of Metrovalencia, the burial of the rail in Burjassot, the improvement in accessibility of the Turia station on Line 1 of Metro Valencia .


The construction of the tram of Campello, the north rail access in Puerto de Castellón, which has permitted the entry of convoys in the named port. This infrastructure, marks a a milestone in the logistics of the Port Authority of Castellón, since the work done by Rover Alcisa, the Port of Castellón opens a way to trade goods by rail.
